Comedian and actress Nikki Glazer is gearing up for one of the biggest moments of her career: hosting the 82nd Golden Globe Awards. The event will be broadcast live on CBS on Sunday, January 5th.

In the interview, Glaser also reflected on the advice he’s received from previous hosts of major awards shows.

“Ricky (Gervais) called me right away and gave me advice,” she said. “His advice was, ‘Just be yourself. You’re not one of them. Don’t try to go out there as if you were one of them.’ A-lister It’s just because I was invited. ”

The comedian received his own nominations and recognition this year.

“I’m really happy that I was able to get the nomination after all the preparation I’ve done,” Glaser said. “For me, hosting is number one.”

“I’ll do a little bit if I win an award. I think it’s more interesting if I lose.”
