Boulder, Colorado – May 24, 2025 – The annual Boulder Creek Festival has officially returned, transforming the heart of downtown Boulder into a vibrant celebration of music, food, and community spirit from May 24 through Memorial Day weekend.
Held along the scenic banks of Boulder Creek, the event stretches through Central Park and the Civic Area, drawing locals and visitors alike with its eclectic mix of live performances, artisan markets, and culinary delights. This cherished kickoff to summer offers something for everyone—from craft beer aficionados to families seeking festive fun.
Local Flavors and Craft Brews
A standout feature of this year’s festival is the Creekside Beer Fest, where attendees can sample unlimited pours from over 20 local breweries and distilleries. Running across multiple sessions on Saturday and Sunday, this 21+ attraction offers general admission tickets starting at $39.
“We’re excited to bring together some of Colorado’s best brewers for a tasting experience that truly reflects the spirit of Boulder,” said Jamie Lin, Beer Fest organizer. “There’s an incredible diversity in the brews this year, from citrusy IPAs to rich porters.”
Music Across Three Stages
Live music pulses through the weekend, with three stages hosting performances by a wide variety of bands. Among the most anticipated is Steely Dead, a group known for their genre-bending covers that blend the legendary sounds of Grateful Dead and Steely Dan.
“The energy here is amazing,” said Ryan Daniels, lead guitarist of Steely Dead. “There’s nothing like playing near the creek with fans dancing on the grass.”

Food trucks and local vendors are dishing out an impressive array of eats. Visitors can indulge in everything from Maine lobster rolls and gourmet burgers to Cajun jambalaya, Greek souvlaki, and spicy Indian curries. Vegan and gluten-free options are also widely available.

Over 200 vendor booths line the park, offering everything from handmade jewelry and ceramics to organic skincare and vintage apparel. The Artisan Market captures Boulder’s signature flair for sustainability and local craftsmanship.
