“The debut title, Mila’s Big Wish, was the first step in Pali’s mission to bring emotional literacy into children’s everyday lives. Currently available in English, the Spanish edition—Aventuras de Algodón: El Gran Deseo de Mila—is coming soon, expanding Bunny Tails’ celebration of bilingualism and the beauty of multicultural households. “My children are the heart behind Bunny Tails, their everyday joys, fears, and milestones inspired these stories,” Pali explains. The series was created with the understanding that life’s big transitions, like becoming a big sibling or adjusting to family changes, are often best navigated through love, empathy, and open conversations.
A Professional Journey Meets a Personal Calling
Before launching Bunny Tails, Pali earned her graduate education at Texas Christian University (TCU) and built a career in human resources, training, and communications. She worked across major organizations, including roles at a major seaport and cruise terminal, and led initiatives in a language center and consulting work. Yet, it was through her experiences as a mother, raising a multicultural family in the U.S., that she discovered her true calling.
“Motherhood and building a multicultural family in the U.S. brought that mission into my home. I realized my calling was to create bilingual stories that help children feel seen, safe, and emotionally supported through life’s biggest little changes,” Pali shares. This realization marked the turning point for Pali, where her years of professional experience in communication, culture, and growth seamlessly met her deep, personal mission of helping children process their feelings and transitions.
Pali’s background in human resources, education, and consulting provided her with a unique skill set to build Bunny Tails from the ground up. She knew how to connect with people, how to communicate with clarity and empathy, and she had a passion for helping others grow. These strengths would prove invaluable as she independently developed the English edition of Bunny Tails, leading the creative direction, branding, and community-building efforts on her own.

“I built the English edition independently, leading the creative direction, branding, and community-building, and I will be bringing both the English and Spanish editions to readers in the U.S. as an independent author,” Pali explains. “At the same time, the Spanish edition is expanding into Europe through my publishing partnership with Babidi-Bú and collaboration with an Argentinian illustrator.” This blend of independent publishing and international collaboration is part of what sets Bunny Tails apart from other children’s book brands, giving it an authentic, multicultural reach that resonates with families worldwide.
The Spanish edition’s development through a publishing contract with Babidi-Bu is opening new doors for Bunny Tails across Europe, extending the series’ reach to more bilingual and Spanish-speaking families and bringing the same emotional support and storytelling to a wider audience. The collaboration with Argentinian illustrator Jessica Gamboa has further expanded Bunny Tails’ global appeal, offering a beautifully illustrated, culturally rich experience for children in both languages—while Pali continues to grow the series independently in the U.S. with both English and Spanish editions for families at home and in the classroom.
