Desert Donuts: A Sweet Fundraiser for the Miss Arizona Organization
This February and March, Desert Donuts is proud to partner with the Miss Arizona Organization for a two-month fundraiser that gives back in multiple meaningful ways. Funds will be raised through three exciting initiatives: 10% of proceeds from a specially created custom donut, 100% of all customer “round-up” donations to the nearest dollar, and 15% of all sales on each of the eight Saturdays in February and March when customers mention any of the eight Miss Arizona Local Titleholders. Throughout the fundraiser, these titleholders will also be spotlighted for their individual service initiatives, causes close to their hearts that inspire positive change across Arizona. While the initiatives themselves are not directly tied to fundraising proceeds, Desert Donuts is honored to help amplify the voices and impact of these remarkable women. Every visit, every donut, and every donation helps support the Miss Arizona Organization and the communities it serves.

This year, Desert Donuts is teaming up with the Miss Arizona Organization, a nonprofit focused on providing scholarships and service opportunities to young women across the state. The program helps participants raise awareness for causes they care about while empowering them to be tomorrow’s leaders. For Desert Donuts, this partnership is the perfect way to amplify our “Community First” philosophy.
Creative Fundraising for a Greater Cause
Desert Donuts is rolling out a series of innovative initiatives to raise funds for the Miss Arizona Organization, giving customers a chance to contribute simply by enjoying a treat. One of the most exciting initiatives is the launch of the Crown Donut, a special creation available throughout February and March. For every Crown Donut sold, Desert Donuts will donate 10% of the proceeds to the Miss Arizona Organization.
In addition, Desert Donuts is introducing a “round-up” campaign at the register. Customers can round up their total to the nearest dollar, with every cent donated directly to the Miss Arizona Organization. This simple gesture allows anyone to participate and contribute, no matter how small.
Perhaps the most unique aspect of this fundraiser is Desert Donuts’ partnership with local Miss Arizona Local Titleholders. Each titleholder will be assigned a specific day to promote the event, and Desert Donuts will donate 15% of every dollar spent from 6 AM to 5 PM on those days for customers who visit because of their promotion. Make sure to mention the Miss Arizona Local Titleholder when you visit to help contribute 15% of your purchase to the Miss Arizona Organization.
