It was born from the ashes of unimaginable pain, built by a woman who refused to let her suffering end in silence. What began as one survivor’s desperate fight to heal became a global force for hope. A Contagious Smile, and its sister platform, A Contagious Smile Academy, now stand as sanctuaries for those who’ve endured the unthinkable: survivors of trauma, families shattered by abuse, veterans battling invisible wounds, and children navigating extraordinary challenges.
This isn’t charity. It’s a calling, forged in scars and fueled by the belief that no one should be left behind in the dark. Every course, every resource, every outreach effort is a declaration: you are not alone.
This movement didn’t start in a boardroom. It started with a mother holding her child through surgeries and tears, a wife holding her veteran husband through battles seen and unseen, and a survivor holding herself together long enough to build something no one else dared to create.
This is A Contagious Smile. And it was made for you.
When the world looked away, she built a way out.
A Contagious Smile is not just a name. It’s a promise stitched together with pain, resilience, and love, a vow that no one should ever feel as alone as she once did.
Founded by Victoria Cuore, a woman who endured brutal domestic violence while pregnant, this mission was born from the wreckage of a life nearly stolen. Her abuser shattered her face, requiring it to be rebuilt with titanium jaws. The trauma left her permanently hearing impaired, requiring hearing aids. She endured over 100 surgeries, including a complete shoulder replacement, multiple spinal surgeries, and ultimately the amputation of her left arm.
She survived what most couldn’t, and then, somehow, chose to give back.
What started as one woman’s desperate journey to find purpose in the aftermath of unthinkable suffering has now grown into a global movement of healing:
A Contagious Smile.
At the heart of this movement is A Contagious Smile Academy — an online sanctuary offering trauma-informed courses unlike anything else available. These are not clinical, cold modules built by people who’ve read about pain in a book. These are real, raw, and relatable courses created by those who have lived every page of the struggle.
These courses don’t try to impress; they change lives.
With healing collections such as:
- Safe Haven Phoenix – For survivors of abuse rising from the ashes
- Valor Circle – For veterans carrying unseen wounds
- Stucco Squad – For exceptional children and their families, blending joy with inclusion
- Limitless Recovery – For anyone clawing their way back after trauma, addiction, grief, or loss
- Social Media Playbook – For those ready to amplify their message and mission
Every offering is written, built, and guided by those who have walked through the fire and now choose to carry water for others. Behind it all stands a family: Victoria, her husband Michael, a veteran and former law enforcement officer, and their unstoppable daughter Faith, who has special needs and an unshakable spirit.
Victoria and Michael host the globally ranked podcast, A Contagious Smile, where millions of listeners gather to hear the raw, unfiltered truths behind survival, resilience, and triumph. With deeply personal stories, candid interviews, and moments of powerful vulnerability, this isn’t just a podcast—it’s a lifeline for survivors, families with special needs, veterans, and anyone facing life’s most challenging obstacles.
A Contagious Smile has also caught the attention of Hollywood. Many of entertainment’s most beloved names have appeared on the show, standing in solidarity with its mission. Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton recently appeared on Teen Talk, the teen-led segment hosted by Faith Cuore—Victoria and Michael’s inspiring daughter, where young voices are heard, valued, and uplifted. In an unforgettable moment, Faith interviewed Blue Bloods star Abigail Hawk from her ICU hospital bed, shortly after undergoing life-saving surgery.
The show has been supported by a remarkable lineup of guests, including Carson Kressley, Ray Lewis, Lou Diamond Phillips, Amir Arson, Gary Levox of Rascal Flatts, Malcolm Goodwin, Bellamy Young, Lisa Leslie, and many more. Each brings their heart, their support, and their voice to this global movement of healing, strength, and unstoppable hope.
Faith herself has authored five books to help children cope with hospital stays and surgeries, because she knows what it feels like to face the unknown and still want to help someone else smile.
This family receives no compensation. They give because they’ve lived the reality of being alone in the dark, and refuse to let anyone else feel the same.
“After years of feeling invisible and exhausted as the parent of a medically complex child, Victoria gave me something I forgot I deserved — hope.”
— A grateful mother, Stucco Squad participant
“I didn’t think anyone would understand what it’s like to come home and still feel lost. But Valor Circle did. It saved my life in more ways than I can say.”
— Veteran, Valor Circle member
“Victoria’s honesty — her story, her books — they didn’t just help. They healed. She walked beside me when no one else could. She changed my life. Full stop.”
— Sasha, survivor of domestic violence
A Contagious Smile has been recognized by FOX, CBS, NBC, Women’s Week, and Insider Weekly, where Victoria was honored as the 2025 Best Transformative Trauma Advocate for Domestic Violence. But no accolade compares to the email from a mother who no longer cries herself to sleep — or the veteran who chose to stay another day because of one course, one voice, one smile.
And now, you can change a life.
By sponsoring a course, you can offer healing to someone with nothing left. You can fund a scholarship for a child who feels different, a survivor unsure how to start again, or a parent who just needs one more reason to keep fighting.
This is not a business.
It is a calling, born in blood, rebuilt in titanium, and offered in love.
As Victoria reminds us all:
“We don’t teach from research. We teach from reality. I was the woman with a crushed face, a failing heart, and a baby I was terrified I wouldn’t live to meet. I lost my arm. My hearing. My old life. But I found something greater: a purpose bigger than my pain. Now we stand with others so they never have to stand alone.”
And always:
“You’ve survived 100% of your worst days. That tiny light inside you? It’s still there. And it can start a wildfire. We’re here to walk beside you, step by step, until you believe it too.”
