Tasha Lee’s path to founding the Assurance Network began with a phone call she received as a customer service representative. On the other end was a 79-year-old man trying to apply for life insurance. He told her about a previous agent who had been dismissive and unkind simply because of his age. Tasha never knew what circumstances had led him to wait so long to apply, or what became of him, but hearing the hurt and discouragement in his voice left a lasting impression.
Another experience that stayed with her was speaking with families struggling to afford health coverage, unaware that they might qualify for Medicaid. Listening to their frustration and worry firsthand made her realize how often people are overlooked, discouraged, or left without hope. These experiences inspired Tasha to become an insurance agent and eventually start her own agency—a place where every client, regardless of age or circumstance, receives the compassion, respect, and guidance they truly need.
Witnessing these struggles inspired Tasha to create something different, a company built on honesty, compassion, and guidance.
